Getting away from my internet obsession - mild success?

I'm graaadually getting rid of my internet obsession (I used to be online like... 16 hours a day if I could, only offline to go to bed), which means I'm being a lot less active here than I wanted to be.

I'm going to buy a new camera soon - 'spiegelreflexcamera' as they call it in Dutch (basically, one of those fancy ones that professional photographers carry around, also with HD filming so I can start vlogging). Got quite a bit of vacation cash saved up, so I had to get one~!

I also bought two things from Bodyline I've been dying to get, and some bloomers, since I haven't got any of those yet. Here's what I ordered (blouse in white, though):

I'm planning on wearing the JSK with pink. So I can wear it with some pink shoes I'm planning on buying for my Teatime skirt. ^^

Anyway, I reckon I'll be off again!

Soooo, as you mayyyy have noticed, I haven't updated this thing in a while. Thing is, I honestly don't have a whole lot to update on. Well, unless I think about it.

I got a brand new skirt in the mail a few days ago (handmade by the lovely Boeru from the Dutch EGL Forum), however... I seemed to have ripped through it. Plus it's a little bit on the slender side compared to my Bodyline dress in the 'poof' department (aka my thighs are HUGE), so I'm waiting a while before putting it on. I couldn't help fooling around with a 'co-ordination attempt', though - the only thing I have that matches the skirt is a My Little Pony bag... hopefully there'll be tons of nice accesories in London.

Uh. Sorry for the awful quality, but... I was just messing around. xD

My Bodyline petti has seemed to have lost all of it's poof, so I know not to order from there again (even though I already did, but still) in terms of petticoats. Will be buying some bloomers there, though, since I don't even have one. I'm also thinking of putting my first ~burando~ order - a Baby the Stars Shine Bright skirt, Chained berry memoir, either in sax or cream. It's going to completely defy my whole 'no food on Lolita clothing' rule, but I am working on losing weight so it should be fine in the long run.

Also, as said before, going to London soon for a Lolita shopping spree~! ♥ There's this little shop in Camden Town that I've walked past before, but didn't have the courage to walk into because I'm not at the average side, but this May I'm going to say boo to that and just walk in for some bags, hopefully shoes and even more hopefully a dress, JSK or skirt. Or a blouse or two, but I'm not sure of the sizes in there (I'd need something with shirring anyway).

I've got two items ordered from Taobao thanks to a very helpful person on an EGL forum~.

Hoping to get a brand new super good petticoat soon, as well as a lovely blouse.

I knooow I'm a bit late with posting this, but last Friday I went out to my mom's home to visit (I rarely do because I live many miles away, kinda a pity), and I wore Lolita outside for the first time! Well, not counting a convention, but everyone's dressed a little bit differently out there.

Sadly, the whole effect kinda died when it was a sort of mardi gras out in my old city...

However! I did love the co-ord I wore!

The last picture was more done as a sort of before-and-after for make-up and hairstyling... though the make-up is pretty natural (I hate going over the top with make-up... even now I felt like I wore way too much concealer).

Loved going out in this though. My mom went all emotional on text message when I left, saying I was growing into such a beautiful girl~.

For the rest, I bought Pokémon Black & White (can't run behind! I've got a Pokémon collection I'm working on!), the blouse that's in my co-ord, a book (Terry Pratchett's Soul Music), manga (Venus versus Virus) and today I bought two new games (Pokémon FireRed for the collection and Lufia! Which is a pretty awesome game!).

I'm saving up for my dream dress now - I want to buy it as soon as I've got new glasses. So expect a new co-ord pretty soon!

Chocolate fantasy

So, I just saw the Baby, the Stars Shine Bright spring fashion show on Youtube, and I have to say... I'm in love.

Perhaps it's because my biggest love in colour for Lolita is mint, followed by brown, but I'm so going to follow this little thing that I know is going to be a trend!

What am I talking about? Why, brown (chocolate) blouses under JSKs of course!

Not only does this mean I get to spice up my planned mint buys towards chocolate mint, but it also means I don't have to always look for a white underlay (because I just don't like black with mint, y'know? Unless someone has a very very veeeery nice example of it so I can see, but I'd never go for it on my own...).

It also means I'd be able to look for brown shoes to go under my co-ords! Since I usually prefer white tights, though I might look for some brown ones and get white shoes as well. I'm not sure; brown tights seem a little silly to me compared to white... it's worth a shot though!

Whoo it's been a long time since I posted here - sorry about that. I've been kinda busy with my new job, moving, a convention, starting up a doujinshi circle and what not, and... it kinda ended up with me finding nothing to post about while I had so much going on. @,@'

ANYWAY.

Good part before the wants! I got accepted to the Dutch Elegant Gothic Lolita forum - yaayy! Though I still think the name is a little silly since the forum works for all styles and it's in bright pink (why not mint!? I'm gonna see if I can manually edit...). I'm known as Minty there, and you'll probably notice why I refer to myself as Minty when you see my do wants.

Photoshoot

Just got home from a photoshoot with my boyfriend - had to put his Magenta Magenta (JoJo's Bizarre Adventure) on camera, and it was freezing but we had tons of pictures taken~. Took us about 45 minutes of photo taking in the end. Mainly preparing for tomorrow, since tomorrow I've got at least 4 photoshoots, let alone from pictures of random cosplayers etc.

Hoping to work on some poses as well tonight to work with my Lolita dress, but I'm sure that'll work out fine!

Tsunacon tomorrow...

So, Tsunacon is tomorrow and I'm really looking forwards to finally going out in my dress. However, I just found out that the knit beret I bought... doesn't look good with the outfit. Hopefully I'll be able to find something nice today, but I won't have a great deal of time (my boyfriend wants to get some photo's taken of his cosplay so I don't have to walk around in the cold (2 or 3 degrees celcius) tomorrow in my dress, except to walk to the train, home, the convention itself).

Maybe I should just get that cute headband with a black bow on it I saw... or I'll just stick to the rose pin I bought. The bow that came with my dress is massive, and I'm not very fond of massive headbows with Lolita, so that's not an option.

I'm going to have to remember to take along my camera and which shoots I was wanting to hold. I'm awful at remembering things, plus I'm not allowed to carry my bag (it's huge!) inside, and there's no pockets in my dress... not to mention I'm not going to walk around with a green camera bag on my black and white outfit, so putting my schedule in there isn't much of an option. I'll see, maybe I'm allowed to take in my bag anyway since I'm going with crew members.

Right, going to continue waking up now, maybe play a game or two, then off to the mall for conditioner and something for on my head.

New beginnings

It's a brand new day and a brand new start for me!

Since I now live elsewhere, I figured I might as well fix what I've been doing wrong and go all out to becoming the person I want to be.

I'm going to look for work today after grocery shopping and jogging. Also going to start over Final Fantasy 10 - or, if I'm not feeling like a masochistic pig, Final Fantasy 7.

These two cosplays are what I'm going to start working on when I've got a stable enough set of working hours, so hopefully that will be soon!

Oh jealousy, rearing it's ugly head.

I'm thinking of going out and jogging for a bit while heading over towards the mall. Maybe I'll just park my bike just outside of it and go speedshopping for a birthday present and getting some extra keys made. I mean, speedshopping is practically a sport in itself.

Wish I looked like Mandy Morbid.

Moving!

I'm moving today to live with my boyfriend. Will start working out a whooole lot so my weight loss blog will actually be used from then on.

Can't wait until I can fit into more beautiful clothes and look and feel great!

Well, I bought Bodyline's Antique Clock in grey a little while back, and it's arrived, yaaay!

I really had to try and see if I could fit into it already despite not being officially in the weight category, and it does fit! Though, I'm planning on making a shirt to fit under it to 'charm' my arms a little more, plus make it more winter proof... not too sure on the sleeves yet, but I think I'll have them end in a sort of 'wedding sleeve' style, with a v over my hand!

Oh, uhm... sorry about the hat, I hadn't done anything with my hair and wanted to hide it. ^^'
