Christmas and weight

You know, I'm no Scrooge or anything. In fact, I love Christmas. It was one of the holidays I didn't get at all when I was growing up, after my grandfather died. So when my sister bought us a Christmas tree, we had to celebrate it big time after a 15 year break.

But... well, there's one part of Christmas I really, really dislike. All the delicious food.

I love it. But at the same time, it made me gain weight to more than my previous goal.

And that's what I hate about Christmas.
Starting January 1st, I'm going to start paying attention to what I eat again, plus keeping up a mini-blog up here for my weight/measurements.

Shopping with a chicken!

So, I went shopping today with my best friend Kip (Dutch for chicken). Sadly the fabric market we wanted to go to was already being broken down, but I did manage to score me some nice little things to buy - as I found I had a huuuge amount of money compared to normally on my bank account!

What I bought:
1. K-On manga
2. Hetalia manga
3. Junjou Romantica manga (for Kip!)
4. Pokémon SoulSilver!! Finally got myself a PokéWalker.

I put a Sentret onto my PW as soon as I could, because I know those things aren't gonna get trained properly and I just wanted to have something to count my steps and such... but still it's kinda fun to catch Pokémon on there.

Anyway, I'll be posting again as soon as I've got something interesting to note!

Bought my first Lolita dress and I absolutely love it already!

It'll be my mass-motivation towards weight loss. I'm nearly at the max size, but I'd rather have a whole lot of extra room in the top.

Well, maybe not so much. Greetings, men, women and question cases! Minty Tea Talks is a little personal blog maintained by a girl with a... variety of interests, though the main deal about the posts does remain; it can be discussed under a nice cup of (mint) tea!

But, what will the topics actually be? Ah, my lovelies, that won't be a question for much longer; topics will range from video games to cartoons (including the dreaded Japanese ones!), from Lolita fashion to cosplay (because there is a difference, dears) and all the way over towards conventions and related deals.

Suddenly I can't help but imagine myself walking around an Anime convention with an oversized Mario shirt and a frilly pink bow in my hair. Rest assured, I'm not a drama case!... I hope.
